“Where there is compassion and understanding, there is action. Where there is action, there is hope.” New Hope Pit Bull Rescue is dedicated to rehabilitating and re-homing unwanted, stray and abandoned animals, and to promoting humane treatment of animals through educational programs for our community. We are committed to providing quality veterinary care, as well as, socializing, training, behavioral modification where needed, exercise and daily companionship for all animals in our program. Our passion is to inspire and engage the community to help end animal suffering, and to reduce the number of homeless pets through the promotion of low cost spay neuter programs in our community. Another one of our biggest concerns is BSL, or Breed Specific Legislation . It is our hope, to educate those who misunderstand these and other breeds, and to encourage responsible pet ownership of all animals. * Help Us Help Them * There are MANY ways that you can help. We are always in need of donations to put towards vaccinating dogs, having them spayed or neutered and other medical needs. We operate soley on public donations to help these wonderful dogs, so sponsoring a dog is a GREAT way to help. If you aren't able to make a monetary donation, we could use whatever else you may be able to give. Towels, bedding, food, toys, collars and leashes are something we could always use. Dogs that are adopted out by NHPBR go to their new homes with a collar and a leash. ** Foster Homes Needed! ** We are ALWAYS in need of foster homes. If you aren't able to adopt, but would still like to help a dog in need, consider fostering. Military family's make GREAT fosters for our dogs!
