NC Shelter Rescue, Inc. is a newly incorporated rescue in NC we are currently in process of filing for our 501c3 status. NC Shelter Rescue, Inc. is dedicated to assisting shelters decrease their high kill rates through increasing adoptions of companion animals, facilitating the institution of community programs aimed at decreasing shelter populations, and providing educational information that will foster healthy and humane animal care. NC Shelter Rescue, Inc. is committed to decreasing the population of discarded, unwanted companion animals through increasing public awareness of the scope and magnitude of this problem by providing educational programs and presenting models for affordable, proactive solutions aimed at decreasing irresponsible pet ownership. NC Shelter Rescue, Inc. is passionate about interceding on behalf of shelter animals facing imminent euthanasia by providing safe, protective foster homes and permanent adoptive homes. We believe integrity in our interactions with shelters, our dedication and ability to help educate, empower, and motivate pet owners to provide appropriate and responsible care for their animals, and our compassionate action on behalf of companion animals in need will result in fiscally sound alternatives to killing unwanted companion animals, fewer unwanted animals who end up in shelters, as well as healthier, happier companion animals in permanent homes.
