We are small private rescue made up of volunteers and we foster the animals in our homes. We rescue a lot of dogs! on average 150 a year!And a few cats. Most of the dogs we take in are usually positive for heartworm disease, need orthopedic surgery, eye surgery, tumor removals, and have an array of complex medical issues. We take in the sick, injured, neglected, abused and otherwise unwanted dogs, get them healthy and socialized and ready for forever homes. We treat every dog regardless of cost. We do not euthanize for space or because of medical conditions unless advised by our vet.
All of our adoption fees and donations go towards our vet bills. All other rescue related stuff we purchase out of pocket. We will gladly accept donations of dogpuppy food, laundry detergent, crates and kennels, collars and leashes, toys and treats and pretty much anything else dog related! We have in-state non-profit status and are currently working on completing our 501c3.
