Our focus is on senior and special needs dogs, mainly small breeds. We work mainly with Chihuahuas, English Bulldogs, and Yorkshire Terriers. We often have small mixed breeds and puppies available for adoption as well.
We are always in desperate need of foster homes and sponsors for our dogs. Because most of our work is with senior and special needs dogs, we often have quite a high vet bill. Any help is greatly appreciated!
We are located in Baxter County, Arkansas but do not limit our work here. Out of state adoptions are welcome.
If you are interested in adopting one of our fur babies, please fill out an adoption application at http://www.mhpets.com/application.php Adoption fee varies on each dog. Transport to the New England area is available.
We also have a Seniors for Seniors program that helps place senior dogs with senior citizens. We are in need of sponsors to help keep this program going. If you can't adopt, please consider sponsoring one of our rescued babies.
