Monroe County Dog Pound is just that - a dog pound - we are not a shelter and sadly euthansia does happen. We take in abuse cases, owner surrenders, strays, and other animals. We are constantly full with dogs and would appreciate any foster homes or rescues to help us out! Thanks! We desperately need help here at the dog pound. We are in need of FOSTER HOMES and people to volunteer here at the shelter (that includes walking and playing with the dogs, and cleaning kennels).
