THE ROLE OF THE MARION COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY
To provide a safe and humane sheltering facility to house and care for animals. To assure proper placement of homeless animals by adoption or by use of qualified rescuer groups. To promote spay/neutering and responsible pet ownership.
Most of our animals come from a bad past which may include abuse, neglect, and or abandonment. This is why we are so particular who our animals go home with. If you would like to adopt a companion animal, one that will be part of your family, please come and visit us.
