The Marin Humane Society cares for nearly 9,000 homeless animals each year and assists all of Marin County’s residents with their animal needs. The Marin Humane Society reunites hundreds of lost animals with their owners, assists seniors and the disabled with pet care, offers humane educational outreach programs, and places 98 percent of animals available for adoption into new homes. The Marin Humane Society is supported entirely by memberships, contributions and bequests, and operates as a non-profit, charitable organization.
Plans for 2005 include the development of two dog parks and a community plaza on our property. By our 100th anniversary in 2007, we will have plans for a renovation of the Shelter building.
