Established in 1976, the Long Beach Humane Society is a non-profit, non-salaried, volunteer organization, independent of political constraints and geographic boundaries.
We exist for the humane treatment of the most unfortunate and neglected animals that have been rescued by us or surrendered to us. The contributions that we receive provide for the means and needs of these animals, their health and their quest for homes.
Some of our work includes:
* The rescue, care, medical needs and adoption of the unwanted or homeless kittens and cats in our care.
* Foster care program for orpahaned kitties and those with special needs.
* Feral Cat feeding program
And now we have the Kitty Cove , the Long Beach Humane Society Adoption Center inside Pet Supplies "Plus", Oceanside.
Come & visit us and visit with our kittens and cats - they just love the attention.
