Lewis Clark Animal Shelter is the oldest Humane Society in Idaho. We handle an average of 12,000 animals each year.
Qualified staff veterinarians, technicians and staff provide abuse and neglect intervention and investigation thorugh out North Idaho.
Our clinic provides care, vaccines and low cost spay neuter services to pet owners as well as health care and sterilization for shelter animals.
The Lewis Clark Animal Shelter contracts with the cities of Lewiston, CuldSac, Asotin and Lapwai as well as unincorporated Nez Perce County, Asotin County and Nez Perce Tribal Reservation, to provide sheltering for animal control, animal welfare and cruelty investigation.
We provide educational opportunities for area youth and programs in schools, youth organizations and clubs on a regular basis.
Lcas promotes legislation that improves conditions for the animals and pet owners of Idaho.
Lewis Clark Animal Shelter is a private 501c3 organization that relies on donations to provide programs and services that benefit animals in Idaho.
