The Aryan Molossus
Once a Warrior, Today a Loyal Companion and a Family-Protector

Should you ever decide that you need a big dog, with an imposing posture, which can look threatening and majestic at the same time, the Aryan Molossus is definitely one breed that you must take into consideration.

The Armant
The Egyptian Dog with a Lot of Love to Give

To some of you, the Armant is better known as the “Egyptian Sheepdog” and, just as the name suggests it, it was bred to be a herding dog. However, in ancient times, it was used mostly as a guard dog. This breed is originally from Egypt and named after the town of Armant. Its loyalty and agility are the two main characteristics which make this dog special.

The Atlas Terrier
The Small Dog With a Massive Dose of Energy

At a glimpse, the Atlas Terrier can be easily mistaken with the Jack Russell Terrier. However, there are some differences that may help you tell these two cousins apart. Before deciding to buy or adopt a dog of this breed, there are some things that you have to take into consideration. Unfortunately, this is quite a rare breed of dogs in our days.

Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie
It Is Impossible Not to Love Them

Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie are the smallest dogs in the Anglos-Francais category. However, the name „Petite”, meaning „small”, is not at all referring to the size of the dogs, but to the game they are after. Even if they've been around since the 16th century, today, these dogs are not easy to find. So if you have decided to adopt one, you can be sure that you will have a unique pet.

I want to first say that when I started doing rescue, I had no idea what I was getting into. I did not see dog rescue as a competition or a way to make money, I just saw a need, and did my best to step up and give a hand to the dogs who had no one else to help them. Along the way I have learned that there are many people out there who are caring for unwanted animals. There are a lot of groups in my area. I would like to publicly offer my services to them. I will clean, take dogs to appointments, get them to a transport, and foster when I have the room. I have very few hours at my job, so I have plenty of time to give a hand to others. Just ask. I will always do what ever I can do to benefit an animal in need. Sadly though some rescue groups are in it for the wrong reasons, and it reflects on other groups. My goal is to get all of the rescue groups in our area to work together. We wont all agree, but it should not be about us. Its about the animals. I want to keep it about the animals, and hope that those who have been given the wrong impression about me, and what I do will be able to see what I am about. I rescue the dogs who are on "death row" at our local pound. I take the ones home that I can take home. I have limited space, and limited funds ( I have no financial backing) and I get them their shots, and try to find them a home. I do not sell dogs. For a pound dog, I ask for a bag of dog food, and $25 to cover my expenses.. If I can not house a dog because of behavior problems, or medical issues that I can not afford to cover, I find someone who can. Because most of our local rescues are full, or also low on funds, I call other rescue groups that are not local. Some dogs are brought to my door. The person can not care for them any longer, or does not want to keep them for whatever reason. I do not charge them anything for taking their dog. They do sign a release form. I get the dog vetted, and find the dog a home. If I can not provide for the needs of that dog, again, I find someone who can. I have traveled to get a dog. I am contacted by someone who needs help and does not want their dog for what ever reason, and I pick the dog up, and find the dog a home. If I can not meet the needs of that dog, I find someone who can. RESCUE IS NOT A WAY TO MAKE MONEY. I do not use it for financial gain. The only reason I am doing dog rescue is because I love dogs. I can not stand by and watch a dog suffer, and be neglected. I will always do my best for any dog that comes to my home. If my best is not good enough, I will find someone who can do more. I dont just let it go, and let it continue to suffer, or go without whatever it needs. I have on ocassion rescued cats. I get them vetted, and place them into good homes, or I find someone who can.
