Adopting animals from the shelter is easy. There is a $15.00 adoption fee to take an available animal home. The shelter provides a certificate of examination from the Jackson County Veterinary Society to entitle the adoptee to a free health exam. All animals are provided with initial vaccinations and preventative worming. All animals are required to be spayed or neutered at the adopter's expense. A small fee is charged to reclaim a lost animal and proof of vaccination must be provided. We have had all kinds of breeds of animals for adoption at the shelter including exotic breeds and species.
