Indian Summers Border Collie Rescue is a 501(c)3 Non Profit Incorporated Organization in the State of Ohio since 1983 We are a breed specific rescue pulling death row dogs from all 88 counties within the State of Ohio and also aiding with surrounding states when space permits. We take in County Pound and Humane Society BCs that would otherwise be PTS. We also take strays and owner turn-ins after educational consultation. We are a No Kill facility with a must be Spay/Neutered policy on all of our placements, no excepts. Our our adopted dogs are adopted after an adoption process, are life tracked and returnable to our rescue. We have a 60 acre facility with one shelter building and one rescue building and a 80'X80' indoor agility and work facility. Overseen by OAIC, Inc. Board of Directors this program is run by an all volunteer staff. In addition to our headquarters facility Indian Summers Border Collie Rescue also has a foster care home program. Saving one life at a time till they all have homes.
