The Humane Society of St. Joseph and Buchanan County Missouri, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting the community in providing a better quality of life for animals through financial aid, education and advocacy. Our main objectives are to provide financial assistance for the companion animals of low-income guardians and to educate the community about animals.
The Humane Society of St. Joseph is not funded by tax money and is not affiliated with any local or national humane organization. The society relies on private donations and fund-raising activities. Contributions are tax deductible.
