The Humane Society of Moab Valley is a private non-profit organization, started in 1999 and funded solely by donations, membership fees, grants, and fundraising events. All monies go towards sustaining our day-to-day operational costs associated with saving the lives of homeless animals.
Currently, HSMV is 80 volunteer run and operates a no-kill foster program where every adoptable animal finds a new, loving home. Volunteer foster families support and train foster dogs and cats until a suitable new family can be found.
We also offer low-cost spay neuter clinics, feral cat colony support, animal behavior consultation, public education on the humane treatment of animals and assist families who can no longer care for their animals.
