The Humane Society of Evans County is a small network of foster homes that seeks to help the stray and abandoned animals in Claxton and Evans County, GA. We are a private non-profit organization and fundraise to pay for the veterinary care and food for all of the animals that we rescue. We are incorporated through the state of Georgia and a federal 501c3 organization. We also operate a low-cost spayneuter program that subsidizes surgeries for residents of the county to have their pets altered at a reduced cost.
