The Humane Society for Companion Animals (HSCA) is the oldest sheltered animal protection agency in Minnesota!
In 2003 we commemorated our 125th Anniversary of protecting, caring and serving the animals and our community. HSCA cares for nearly 9,000 animals each year between our two shelters in St. Paul and Woodbury. HSCA is committed to providing humane care and shelter for all animals that come to our doors and our work is guided by our mission of Improving Animal Lives~Fostering Human -Animal Bonds.
We rely on the generosity of donors to care for the animals. We receive no government funding and no funding from any national humane association. In 2003, 69% of our operating revenue came from donors, so your gifts do make a big difference in what we are able to accomplish.
