At Hooves & Paws Rescue, Inc. we rehabilitate abused, starved, neglected or unwanted horses and large breed dogs. If possible, following rehabilitation, we place such animals in loving homes. If for any reason an animal cannot be placed, the animal can live its life out at our rescue facility in a safe, loving environment in Glenwood, Iowa.
We also offer the opportunity for individuals to place elderly horses at our facility, if they can no longer be cared for by their owners. Often an aging, yet still loved animal can become a burden on its owner. This option provides the reassurance of knowing their animal will live out its days at the rescue. The fees for placing an elderly horse at our rescue facility vary according to the horses health, age and medical needs. Please visit our web site at www.hoovespaws.org to see the work we do.
