The Herps Alive Foundation is a public charity dedicated to saving, rehabilitating and caring for unwanted, neglected and abused reptiles and amphibians, and to finding new homes for them when possible with an emphasis on educating the public about these remarkable animals.
Our 5,000 sq. foot rescue facility in South Euclid, Ohio 147-9 Garden Drive 44121 should be open no later than January 1 2015. We take all unwanted reptiles and amphibians and work with various local humane organizations, law enforcement, veterinarians and nature center. We are Ohio Division of Wildlife licensed for native species and our Executive Director, Keith Gisser, is licensed for Dangerous Wild Animals ad Restricted Snakes by the Ohio Department of Agriculture.
