Volunteers are needed to provide hands on animal care at our Tylertown, Mississippi facility. Our facility, the former "Camp Katrina," is located north of Abita Springs, about two hours from New Orleans. Plan to join us at:

All volunteers are welcome, but VETERINARIANS and VET TECHS are particularly needed. DRIVERS with vehicles, who can help us TRANSPORT animals and supplies between locations are invaluable, too! Volunteers can camp on site (if arrangements are made in advance) and there are also accommodations available in Tylertown. (See www.merrywoodcottages.com or try the Liberty Inn, 6172 Plaza Drive, Tylertown, MS 39667. Hotels and motels are available in nearby McComb, Mississippi as well.)
