HEART Humane Society, Inc. was founded in 1995 and currently has about 40 members dedicated to our mission To establish and provide a comprehensive adoption center for Harrison County, Indiana, which will provide its charges with care until they are adopted. And to provide educational programs dealing with care, training and breeding of small animals. We meet the second Tuesday of each month at 630 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Harrison County Public Library in Corydon, Indiana. We also have events throughout the year such as HEART Walk with the Animals, in October on the Town Square in Corydon, Indiana. Look for our HEART booth at the Lanesville Heritage Festival held every September... future HEART events are announced on our website and in The Corydon Democrat newspaper.
