GENESIS Dog Rescue is a non-profit organization based in Ottawa, Ontario. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, dogs from no kill and kill shelters and taking in desperate owner surrenders who can no longer care for them. We do so by working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, and our trainer. We are able to rescue dogs in need and provide them with loving temporary care and find them well-matched carefully screened furever homes. We also serve as a resource to our community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership. This includes the importance of spayneuter, positive behavior training and good nutrition.
