The Friends of the Plymouth Pound is a tax-exempt, non-profit group dedicated to the rescue and adoption of abandoned cats and dogs on the South Shore of Massachusetts. We were founded in 1985 by a small group of concerned citizens assisting the animal control officer in the historic town of Plymouth, Massachusetts. Since our incorporation in 1989, it has been our mission to reduce the overpopulation of lost, abandoned, neglected, and surrendered animals through adoption, foster care, low-cost spayingneutering assistance, and educational outreach.
We ask you to please consider sponsoring a shelter animal today.
