Friends for Life Animal Sanctuary is a volunteer-based registered nonprofit organization which means your donations are tax deductible! 2004 is Friends for Life's 11th year of helping homeless animals - we couldn't have done it without the support from the community - donating, adopting, and volunteering.
Friends for Life is a "limited intake" or "no-kill" organization. When we haven't the resources to intake additional cats or dogs we cannot take any more into our organization - just the plain straightforward facts.
Friends for Life's MAIN rescue focus is stray animals struggling to survive on the streets and in the deserts. Those animals have no advocate and continue to add to animal overpopulation.
Unfortunately, animals abandoned outside of our adoption center (not going through intake procedures) don't necessary come into our organization and abandonment cases may be reported to the authorities. Friends for Life does not euthanize animals as a matter of convenience or population control. We believe spay and neuter is the answer to animal overpopulation.
