The Fayette County Humane Society is an all volunteer, NON-PROFIT organization located in Fayetteville, Georgia, about 30 miles south of Atlanta. We receive no government funding. Our programs are supported entirely by fundraising and the generosity of individuals who share our concern for homeless animals. The society is dedicated to ending the needless suffering of unwanted pets by preventing surplus litters through our aggressive spay neuter program. We provide spay/neuter assistance and temporary foster care for rescued, homeless pets until they can be placed into permanent loving homes. All pets are given age appropriate tests, vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered (or arrangements are made for spay or neuter) prior to adoption.
