The Division of Animal Control is made up of highly trained personnel and is equipped with five radio-dispatched vehicles. It operates out of the animal shelter located at 2408 Davis Road, maintaining regular business hours. In the even of an after hours emergency, an Animal Control Officer can be reached via our dispatch service which forwards emergency calls involving animal bites or injured animals to the officer on call.

The Division of Animal Control provides essential services such as animal care, rescue, and control for all domestic animals including livestock. All inquiries concerning wildlife should be referred to the Department of Fish and Game. Animal control personnel will field all complaints concerning animal problems and answer any inquires concerning lost and found animals. In addition, we manage the adoption of homeless animals at our facility.
