The SPCA cared for nearly 2,000 City of Buffalo stray animals last year, with no remuneration from the city. ADDITIONALLY, the SPCA trasferred over 500 animals from the city to be placed for adoption at our shelter. In context, these city animals represent over 10% of the animals cared for by the SPCA, and we do it WITHOUT ANY CITY TAXPAYER DOLLARS.
