Welcome to our page and to our shelter. We are currently on our 4th year of sheltering in Idaho! The Emmett Ferret Shelter is a 501(c)3, Federal non-profit, no-kill shelter located in Emmett, Idaho. Although we are located in Emmett, we rescue ferrets from all over Eastern Oregon and Western Idaho, including Boise, Nampa, Eagle, Meridian, Caldwell, McCall, Homedale, Weiser and many other cities.

We offer ferret rescue, and we take in ferrets who, for any reason, need a home. We also have ferrets available for adoption or for foster care. The Emmett Ferret Shelter is a non-profit shelter and relies solely on donations, volunteers, and sponsorship from the community. We can also board your ferrets when you go out of town for a modest boarding fee with proof of negative ADV test and current distemper shots.
