The Edmond Animal Welfare Division employs six full-time officers. These officers are responsible for the care and handling of all animals, wild and domestic, that are brought into the shelter, as well as the daily shelter operations. The officers respond to all calls for service regarding animals during regular business hours and to emergency animal calls after hours. The Animal Welfare Officers genuinely care about all the animals! All animals handled in our facility are treated as humanely as possible.
