The Eaton County Humane Society is a non-profit organization committed to public education of domesticated animal issues and rehoming of the great pets. Our five main priorities are:
* The ECHS will help homeless domesticated animals find permanent, loving homes by increasing visibility of animals available for adoption, increasing the number of foster homes within the county, and work for a permanent solution for interim housing of homeless animals.
* The ECHS will work tirelessly to increase the spay/neuter rate of pets within Eaton county by continuing to educate the public on the importance and benefits of spaying/neutering and to help offer low-cost spay/neuter operations to low income Eaton county pet owners.
*
We currently do not have a shelter. All of our pets are cared for in foster homes.
The Eaton County Humane Society is run by a Board of Directors, with day-to-day operations supervised by an Executive Director. The Board of Directors is elected from within and by the General Membership of the Eaton County Humane Society. If you are interested in joining the Eaton County Humane Socety, please watch this page for meeting notices.
