All strays brought to C.B.A.S. are held for five (5) consecutive days, starting the day of arrival. You are free to fill out an application for a stray, but please keep in mind the animal may be claimed by the owner within the five days or may be deemed unadoptable. At the end of an animal's stray holding time, it is either deemed adoptable and put up for adoption, placed in a reputable rescue program, or humanely euthanized due to temperament or health constraints.
