The Chequamegon Humane Association takes in homeless dogs and cats that have not been claimed by their owners. All animals are spayed or neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for parasites, and examined by a veterinarian. Once they are given the all-clear, they are available for the public to adopt them. We take into consideration each particular animal's personality and needs when screening potential adopters so as to ensure a loving and permanent home.
