The Cedar Valley Humane Society is the areas only private, nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection and welfare of all animals, and has served area communities and the needs of animals for over 100 years.
We have been responsible for the care and disposition of over 100,000 animals - homeless, abandoned, abused, sick and neglected - and DONATIONS ARE VITAL to continuing our efforts on their behalf.
Donations help provide the following animal care services: Adoption services for unclaimed and unwanted animals. Spay/neuter for adopted animals. Rabies vaccination program. Patrolling for lost, injured or dangerous animals. Investigations of complaints of neglected, abused, sick, injured and stray animals. Rescue of abused and neglected animals. Community Services like Pet-assisted Therapy and Humane Education.
