Foster homes play a vital role in the transition from a stray pet or owner give-up, to being placed into a new environment. Some pets can easily adapt to a kennel situation, but most pets that come to us need to be placed into a foster home so that we can identify their needs and work with them so that their next home can be their permanent home. We are also able to identify the pet’s needs, likes, dislikes and let the prospective adopter know more about the pet that they want to adopt. It helps us to help them, and YOU, to make the best matches.
CAWL needs foster homes, we provide the veterinary care, the food, and all we ask is that you provide the TLC (tender loving care). If you are interested in fostering a pet for CAWL, please call our office at (410) 535-9300."
