The Broken Arrow Animal Shelter is located at 3420 North 41st Street in Broken Arrow. That is about one mile east of County Line Road (193rd E. Ave.) on Omaha (51st Street). The Shelter is open to the public six days a week, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Saturday. The Shelter is closed on Sundays and City holidays.
The Shelter has twenty (20) dog runs, eight (8) quarantine pens, seven (7) puppy pens, and twenty five (25) cat pens. The shelter has twenty-two (22) cat traps, nine (9) skunk traps, and five (5) dog traps, available for loan to citizens of Broken Arrow. The Shelter is also equipped with stalls to house larger animals. It was renovated in the winter of 2002-2003.
