Brazoria County Sheriff's Office Livestock/Animal Control Division has 1Secretary/Dispatcher/Shelter Attendant, 4 Animal Control Officers, and 1 Livestock Deputy to serve the unincorporated areas of Brazoria County Texas. 2 ACO's are on at any given time, 1 from 6a-6p, the other from 8a-8p, that is if no one is out sick, or off. and with 1400 sq. miles of county, they stay busy. The shelter has 10 kennels and stays full most of the time. Our Secretary tries very hard to make sure, at least half of our residents, are adopted out to rescues, if not more than half, saving as many as she can.
