The SPCA is the only organization officially recognized by local law enforcement to handle animal abuse, neglect and cruelty.

Mission-
We are devoted to helping animals in need, in hopes that one day no animals will be hurt, neglected or abused in any way.

Company Overview-
Volunteers that care enough to make a difference in the world of animal cruelty in Blount County, TN. Currently there are 4 cruelty investagators and all have full time jobs and personal responsibilities. If you have concerns about an animal or animals, and have not seen a quick response, please be patient as we do care about the animals and try to address each and every call. Description-
The Blount County SPCA volunteers, answer animal cruelty calls and prosecute those individuals who violate animal cruelty laws. This includes animals that have been abused, neglected and or abandoned.

General Information-
The SPCA removes animals from abuse, however we are not considered an actual rescue group. Animals are placed into foster homes through other organizations.
