At the Ames Animal Shelter we promise to love and care for the pets brought to us to the best of our abilities; we promise to make them as comfortable as possible in a difficult situation; we also promise to do our very best to find them new, safe homes. When everything else fails, we promise to end their lives humanely in order to make room for the incoming number of animals to follow.
