Alachua County Humane Society has been the pillar of animal advocacy within our community for over 33 years. We offer programs that support not only animals within our community, but programs that support animal owners as well.
As the lead agency for Maddie's Pet Rescue Project of Alachua County we are aiming (and well on our way to) eliminating the euthanasia of healthy and treatable cats and dogs within our community.
The Humane Society offers adoptions of both cats and dogs. To reduce the number of animals euthanized within our community the Humane Society exclusively adopts animals from the Alachua County Animal Shelter. If you have found a stray animal or have to give up a pet please contact Animal Services at 352-264-6870.
Please take a few moments to browse our site, we welcome feedback or questions!
The Humane Society is a non-profit 501-(3)c organization and all donations are tax deductible!
