Adopt a Torbie / Tortoiseshell (short coat)

Torbie / Tortoiseshell (short coat) Cat

Emma the Cat needs a home

All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.

This adorable young Tortie is called Emma.  She is neither a brown Tabby nor a Tortoiseshell - she is unique, multi-colored with a white bib and feet.  Born in a small yard in Baltimore, her survival would have been questionable had not a good samaritan rescued her and brought her to RORR.  Now Emma is secure, warm and loved and has many other kitties to play with, as well as two dogs.  Although she is still shy of strangers, once she knows you, she wants nothing more than have her belly rubbed and be loved.  And to climb up on your lap and watch TV with you is her all time joy.  Do you have a lap free for her?

Emma is fully vetted and has tested negative for Feleuk/FIV.

She is being fostered near Columbia, Maryland
