Adopt a Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler (short coat)

Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler (short coat) Dog

April May the Dog needs a home

April
May is a very active red heeler/ mix. She would love an owner who can match her energy. She loves playing fetch and runs as fast as a bullet.
April
needs lots of exercise, and is highly trainable. She knows the commands "sit", "down", "no" and "bed".
April
loves bell rubs and being around humans, other animals not so much.

ALL PETS FULLY VETTED BEFORE ADOPTION: including exam, MICROCHIP, spay or neuter, Heartworm test, fecal, deworm, DA2PPv, Rabies (if old enough), as well as any other medications or surgeries the pet needs.

Some highly adoptable dogs who will find a forever home quickly, have a higher adoption fee. These dogs leave a financial legacy for the other animals in our care who may need extensive medical care or more time to find a loving home.

Return Policy: Foster homes save many lives, and as soon as one gets adopted, they often get another one.  So spaces fill up fast!  If you wish to return your adopted dog, please email pets@anewleash.org and be prepared to bring him/her to adoption events until a forever home is found.  In some cases their previous foster can take them back. They cannot be given away, sold, or turned in to another agency. You are responsible for keeping your dog and bringing him/her to adoption events until we find a suitable home to adopt them.
