Adopt a Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat)

Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat) Dog

Calera the Dog needs a home

Calera is a sweet girl who loves to cuddle, but craves play-time as well - especially with tennis balls. She does great with children and other dogs (has not been around cats), but does need a little time to get used to her surroundings.  She once had a broken leg and knee that healed improperly, but she does not let that hold her back - she loves to jump to catch that ball.
Calera is is ready for her forever family, so if you are interested in adopting her, please fill out this form http://anewleash.org/animals/dog-adoption-form/

Some highly adoptable dogs who will find a forever home quickly, have a higher adoption fee. These dogs leave a financial legacy for the other animals in our care who may need extensive medical care or more time to find a loving home.

Return Policy: Foster homes save many lives, and as soon as one gets adopted, they often get another one.  So spaces fill up fast!  If you wish to return your adopted dog, please email pets@anewleash.org and be prepared to bring him/her to adoption events until a forever home is found.  In some cases their previous foster can take them back. They cannot be given away, sold, or turned in to another agency. You are responsible for keeping the dog and bringing him/her to adoption events until we find a suitable home to adopt them.

Please visit our website at www.anewleash.org for more information.
