Eleanor is a very friendly dog. She does well with children and other dogs. Doesn’t like her crate too much but goes in it at night and when we are not home. She has been introduced to cats and she is intrigued with them but I would suggest for the new family's sanity that she goes to a home without cats. She would make a great playmate for another dog. She is very smart and obeys simple commands. She knows the word NO and looks guilty when she has done something wrong…for example…shoes..She likes to chew. Her favorite toys are the squeaky kinds, but they need to be durable. She likes to cuddle on the couch and takes a shower very well. She takes food from your hands very gently and has not shown any aggression whatsoever . Does well with potty training…not really any accidents to speak of when she got accustomed to our family. Only barks at the cats and when she sees my husband come in from outside-she loves my husband. So basically I feel very comfortable recommending her to a family with children and other dogs. Crate training she is ok with-once you get her in. She doesn’t bark while in the crate. And she goes to the bathroom outside.
