What is Terramycin used for:
Pet Meds Terramycin
- Terramycin Opthalmic is an antibiotic ointment used in the prevention and treatment of superficial infections of the eye such as conjunctivitis, keratitis, pink eye, corneal ulcer and blepharitis caused by susceptible organisms
How Terramycin should be used:
Pull down the lower lid of the affected eye and apply a small amount of ointment to the inside of the eyelid 2-4 times a day.
What are the side effects of Terramycin:
Allergic reactions may occasionally occur. Treatment should be discontinued if reactions are severe.
What special precautions are there for Terramycin:
Long term use of the antibiotics containes in this product may result in overgrowth of non-susceptible organisms. Keep the ointment tube tightly closed. To avoid contamination of the product do not allow the tip of the ointment tube to touch any surface. Replace the cap after using.
In the event of overdose:
Contact your veterinarian or veterinary emergency room.
How should I store Terramycin:
Store this product below 77°F. Keep ointment tube tightly closed. Not for human use. Keep this product out of the reach of children and pets.
