- Arthrose 500mg Chewable are liver flavored tablets for large and giant breeds. This product is effective in helping dogs with arthritis, hip dysphasia and abnormalities of the joint and bones. Glucosamine is a naturally occurring substance in dogs and is essential or the replacement and repair of damaged cartilage associated with bone disease.

How Arthrose should be used:
|

The usual starting dose is 1 tablet per 30 lbs of body weight every 12 hours for 8 weeks, then 1/2 tablet per 30 lbs of body weight twice a day as a maintenance dose.

What are the side effects of Arthrose:
|
|
Side effects are rare but may include diarrhea.
|

What special precautions are there for Arthrose:
|
|
This product is not intended to be used in place of other treatments in the presence of an infection or if surgery is needed.
