The Bouvier des Flandres The Bouvier des Flandres is a small and steady dog breed and is somewhat similar to the terrier. Their fur is consists of dark shades and they have proved to be very relaxed and calm. In the beginning they were bred in France and only for the herding ability they possesed but nowadays they are also used for police and military purposes, as well as guide dogs for the blind. The Central Asian Ovtcharka The Central Asian Ovtcharka includes only large and muscular dogs. They are known as very loyal and fearless dogs with strong protective instincts which makes them suitable for the job of a watchdog. As any other large dog they generally have their ears and tail cut from a very early age. The Polish Owczarek Nizinny The Polish Owczarek Nizinny is a medium size muscular dog with long fur which should cover its eyes.
