The Akita Inu
The Akita Inu (or the Japanese Akita) is one of the largest Spitz breeds and is distinct from the American Akita, according to some experts.

The main difference between the Akita Inu and its American counterpart mostly consists in the color accepted by dog associations. This is why some specialists do not even consider that there should be two Akita breeds but rather only one, to include both the Inu and the American Akita.

The Alano is a Guardian with a Heart of Gold
The Alano Espaňol (or Spanish Bulldog) is a molosser, which is a large and solid dog. The dogs are over 23 inches tall (58 centimetres), with the females being a little bit smaller. They weigh 75–88 lb (34–40 kilograms) on average and can live up to 14 years.

Originally from Spain, the Alano Espaňol has a large head, with a short muzzle and a very large nose. Since it is a strong breed, with thick skin and short hair, it was once used in Spanish bullfights.

The Akbash Dog The White Guardian Dog
Turkey has two native dogs: one of them is the Av Kopeği – a hunting dog, and the other one is the Akbash dog, also known as the Coban Kopeği - a solid, white livestock guardian dog, similar to those bred in the Mediterranean basin. The Coban Kopeği dog is docile, even friendly with the livestock under its care, but dominant and sometimes aggressive with the potential predators. It requires sensitive owners who can understand canine behavior and who are able to assume the pack leader status over their dogs.

Ainu The Perfect Guardian dog
The Ainu dog, also called Hokkaido dog, is named after the Japanese prefecture where it arrived 3000 years ago, when the Ainu tribe from the Tohoken region brought it along.

With its straight forelegs, powerful neck, prominent chest and solid back, the dog is thin, muscular and fast - an important feature for those who would like to adopt such a breed. Due to its outdoorsy and inquisitive nature, it needs long daily walks and regular exercise to stay in shape. That is why this breed is unsuitable for living inside an apartment. Intelligent, watchful, eager to learn and very easy to train, the breed is suitable for hunting, but it also

The Amitola Bulldog

What is an Amitola Bulldog? It is a new, captivating and beautiful breed of bulldog.

It is not a recreation of any past type of bulldog, but it is a new, revamped version. The ideal companion, this dog will always be calm and ready to play, with no aggression towards people or other animals. So, if you need a loyal friend or a companion to make you smile and feel happy, this dog would be a perfect match.

It is all about color!
The origin of the name Amitola is to be found in Native American cultures. It means „rainbow”. There are no fixed standards regarding the color of these dogs - they can have any color in the dog color spectrum - black, cream, red, fawn or lilacs with patterns like brindle, sable, self, spotted, merle etc.

Main characteristics

The Amitola Bulldog, even though considered a completely different breed, is quite similar to the English Bulldog. Here are some of its main characteristics: - massive head
- moderately wrinkled - the wrinkles will not affect the dog's well-being
- small ears, close to the head
- fully colored, medium to large nose, with wide nostrils
- padded muzzle
- almond shaped or round eyes
- well defined muscles
- strong and rather short legs
- equal proportions
- broad chest and ribs
- short coat
- thick and full tail
- plenty of muscle mass, but still quite athletic.
- does not drool

Size and shape
The Amitola Bulldog comes in three distinct sizes. The smaller size (the mini) is the most popular. The minis can reach 28-35 cm in height, weighing 30-50 pounds. The other two larger sizes, called bantams and titans, can get to 43 cm and 25 kg, and are preferred by families with a more active lifestyle.

Temperament and behavior
These dogs have natural guardian instincts, but they are not actually meant to be guardian dogs. They are tenacious, intelligent and they love people. They will be calm most of the time, and this is the reason why they perfectly accommodate to an apartment, as they do not tend to be extremely active outdoors. They will often enjoy snuggling on the coach, and you will need to take them for a long walk every day.

The Amitola Bulldog is easy to train, as this dog is quite eager to learn and very intelligent. Proper training will help you avoid upsetting behaviors, and will keep both the dog and the adoptive family happy. There are basic training tips that you will earn quickly. With a proper guide with easy techniques, instructional videos or photos, you will not need a professional trainer.

You will soon realize that your beloved dog is quickly becoming a beloved member of the family.

No matter the size or the color, Amitola Bulldog is a dog to love and admire, as it will always make you smile, and you will have a lot of fun playing together.
