The Aryan Molossus
Once a Warrior, Today a Loyal Companion and a Family-Protector

Should you ever decide that you need a big dog, with an imposing posture, which can look threatening and majestic at the same time, the Aryan Molossus is definitely one breed that you must take into consideration.

The Armant
The Egyptian Dog with a Lot of Love to Give

To some of you, the Armant is better known as the “Egyptian Sheepdog” and, just as the name suggests it, it was bred to be a herding dog. However, in ancient times, it was used mostly as a guard dog. This breed is originally from Egypt and named after the town of Armant. Its loyalty and agility are the two main characteristics which make this dog special.

The Atlas Terrier
The Small Dog With a Massive Dose of Energy

At a glimpse, the Atlas Terrier can be easily mistaken with the Jack Russell Terrier. However, there are some differences that may help you tell these two cousins apart. Before deciding to buy or adopt a dog of this breed, there are some things that you have to take into consideration. Unfortunately, this is quite a rare breed of dogs in our days.

Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie
It Is Impossible Not to Love Them

Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie are the smallest dogs in the Anglos-Francais category. However, the name „Petite”, meaning „small”, is not at all referring to the size of the dogs, but to the game they are after. Even if they've been around since the 16th century, today, these dogs are not easy to find. So if you have decided to adopt one, you can be sure that you will have a unique pet.

Adopt from a Persian Cat Rescue

A Persian cat rescue is not complete unless the cat is adopted by a loving owner. Adopting an animal from the animal shelter is one of the best things that can happen to you. Most animals that are abandoned in such shelters are not to blame for the decision of their owners. The owners can no longer take care of their pets or they are not suitable to own one.

In spite of the fact that pedigree cats are very expensive there are people who do not care about that and abandon them. Moreover, these cats are very sensible and cannot handle living on the streets. They need to be taken care of properly which is why a Persian cat rescue can be the only solution for them.

If you love this cat breed and want to adopt one, you should first of all get acquainted with the characteristics of the Persian cats. Here are some of the most important ones:
* Persian cats are perfect for apartment living. They are friendly, unpretentious and quiet. This is why they don't usually spend much time in a Persian cat rescue center, since they are adopted almost immediately by a new owner.
* The exterior aspect of this breed is characterized, first of all, by the long and thick hair and round face with a short muzzle. The Persian cat’s fur can come in many colors, which has become possible through selective breeding. Unfortunately, selective breeding has led to other changes too, including the flat face that causes health problems.
* The body constitution of the Persian cat is characterized by short legs, large eyes that people love immediately and a wide head with ears placed far apart from each other. There are some types of Persians that have a completely flat face which means that the chin, nose and forehead are perfectly aligned. In the case of the red tabby Persians, this face constitution has led people to name them the peke-faced Persians. The name is inspired by the flat-faced Pekingese dog
* There are many types of Persian cats, including the peke-faced type, the Himalayan Persian, the Exotic Shorthair type, the toy and teacup Persian and so on. The Himalayan type is also called the Colorpoint Longhair cat, and it is the result of a cross between the Persian and the Siamese. In the case of the Exotic Shorthair Persian, the fur is shorter than usually, which makes it easier to take care of. The teacup and toy Persians are very small and people that live in small apartments usually prefer them.

A Persian cat rescue can make a beautiful cat happy again. These loving pets do not require too much time to take care of. However, the longhair fur must be groomed properly.

Because of the multiple changes over time in the physiognomy of this breed, it has developed a predisposition to some health issues. But, with a responsible owner, the pet can live happily for many years and make the lives of those surrounding it a lot richer. So, adopt a pet from a Persian car rescue center and you will not regret it; knowing that you have saved an innocent life is a feeling that cannot be compared to anything else in this world.
