The Aryan Molossus
Once a Warrior, Today a Loyal Companion and a Family-Protector

Should you ever decide that you need a big dog, with an imposing posture, which can look threatening and majestic at the same time, the Aryan Molossus is definitely one breed that you must take into consideration.

The Armant
The Egyptian Dog with a Lot of Love to Give

To some of you, the Armant is better known as the “Egyptian Sheepdog” and, just as the name suggests it, it was bred to be a herding dog. However, in ancient times, it was used mostly as a guard dog. This breed is originally from Egypt and named after the town of Armant. Its loyalty and agility are the two main characteristics which make this dog special.

The Atlas Terrier
The Small Dog With a Massive Dose of Energy

At a glimpse, the Atlas Terrier can be easily mistaken with the Jack Russell Terrier. However, there are some differences that may help you tell these two cousins apart. Before deciding to buy or adopt a dog of this breed, there are some things that you have to take into consideration. Unfortunately, this is quite a rare breed of dogs in our days.

Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie
It Is Impossible Not to Love Them

Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie are the smallest dogs in the Anglos-Francais category. However, the name „Petite”, meaning „small”, is not at all referring to the size of the dogs, but to the game they are after. Even if they've been around since the 16th century, today, these dogs are not easy to find. So if you have decided to adopt one, you can be sure that you will have a unique pet.

Pet Tips

French Bull Dogs

French Bull Dogs are perfect companions. They are good with children, playful and devoted, at the same time being very sweet and funny. They are also an intelligent and independent breed, but they require lots of attention and plenty of exercise. The French Bull Dog is patient and affectionate and you can always rely on him to be a good friend. Although he is enthusiastic and alert, a Frenchie is never loud and annoying. Being very curious by nature, he will pretty much enjoy the company of other animals and he will probably get along very well with strangers.

One thing about this kind of dogs is that they really need their owners. They are companion dogs and need to be in close contact with humans. They will require a lot of your attention, but they will offer much in return. French Bull Dogs need to feel that their owners are involved and are taking good care of them, otherwise they might become very stubborn or snappish. They need leadership, so their owners must be firm and have a lot of patience; they must also be calm and consistent to give their dog a proper education. Generally they are easygoing and playful dogs, who enjoy the company of humans and other dogs, but they might need a little guidance every once in a while.

Frenchies are clean and they will stay out of puddles, dirt or mud, so it will be quite easy to keep their coat smooth and shiny; this breed only needs little grooming. Be careful when they are around water, because French Bulldogs cannot swim.

Perhaps your French Bull Dog will drool and slobber, but there are significant chances that he will not. They also have the tendency to snore and wheeze and may have trouble adapting to hot weather. Respiratory issues and heart strokes are the two main health problems French Bull Dogs are prone to.

Even if you let him run around as long as he wants, your dog will need to be taken for a walk every day in order to stay healthy and happy. This breed does not necessarily require you having a yard; they will do fine indoors, in your apartment, but some of them might have lots of energy so make sure you take their needs into account and share part of your time with them so that they can play and exercise. If treated properly, your puppy will live between 10 and 12 years.

French Bull Dogs are referred to as a miniature version of the English Bull Dogs, and they are thought to have originated during the Industrial Revolution in England. Because they have lost their jobs, many people headed towards France and took their small friends with them, which were very appealing to the French people and generated increased demand, so this kind of Bull Dogs is thought of as French.

French Bulldogs have a muscular appearance, with loose skin, big years and various coat colors, the pedigree-accepted ones being brindle, fawn, white and certain combinations of these colors.

With their funny looks and their delicious personality, French Bull Dogs are the perfect pet for a family with children.
