The Aryan Molossus
Once a Warrior, Today a Loyal Companion and a Family-Protector

Should you ever decide that you need a big dog, with an imposing posture, which can look threatening and majestic at the same time, the Aryan Molossus is definitely one breed that you must take into consideration.

The Armant
The Egyptian Dog with a Lot of Love to Give

To some of you, the Armant is better known as the “Egyptian Sheepdog” and, just as the name suggests it, it was bred to be a herding dog. However, in ancient times, it was used mostly as a guard dog. This breed is originally from Egypt and named after the town of Armant. Its loyalty and agility are the two main characteristics which make this dog special.

The Atlas Terrier
The Small Dog With a Massive Dose of Energy

At a glimpse, the Atlas Terrier can be easily mistaken with the Jack Russell Terrier. However, there are some differences that may help you tell these two cousins apart. Before deciding to buy or adopt a dog of this breed, there are some things that you have to take into consideration. Unfortunately, this is quite a rare breed of dogs in our days.

Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie
It Is Impossible Not to Love Them

Anglos-Francaises de Petite Venerie are the smallest dogs in the Anglos-Francais category. However, the name „Petite”, meaning „small”, is not at all referring to the size of the dogs, but to the game they are after. Even if they've been around since the 16th century, today, these dogs are not easy to find. So if you have decided to adopt one, you can be sure that you will have a unique pet.

The Best Dog Toy For Your Adult Dog

As a professional dog trainer, many people ask me what dog toys I recommend and which ones I use for my own dogs.

Here is my answer: Your dog does not need more than two toys. You should rotate them once a week, so he doesn’t get bored. Just remember: We’re talking about an animal which eats the same food for each and every meal, day in/day out. And while your dog does need mental stimulation in the form of play and continued obedience training, they will be happy chewing on and playing with the same toys, for years.

So… what do I tell people are the two best dog toys in my opinion?

- The Kong is the first I recommend. Either in red or black color does not matter. (some people find that you need to play with your dog and this toy a little bit, before your dog will be interested in it… but once they do… WATCH OUT. The main benefit of this toy is that they can chew on it for months and months, in most cases, and it will hold up to the most brutal of dogs. You can also stuff it with doggie treats, cream cheese, peanut butter or whatever and your dog will have a great time trying to get the treats out .

- The rope toy is the second toy I recommend. This is normally sold in either white or multi-strand colors, again the color does not matter. It is commonly a thick piece of soft rope, tied in a knot on either end. Another great toy because—compared to the rawhide bone—this toy can and will last weeks or months.
