Approximately 2 acres of fenced in grass with benches, water pump and dish, sandbox, and pipes for dogs to run through. You must register your dog with Jefferson City Parks, Recreation, and Forestry. Days are set aside for big dogs and others for small dogs, according to weight. Be cautious because dogs in Jefferson City are not as socialized as in other cities where dog parks have been around for a while. Location: Sandstone Drive. Directions: From Downtown Jefferson City: 54 East, take first exit after going over the bridge (airport exit), make a left on Cedar City Drive, make a left on Fourth Street, make a left on Sandstone Drive, parking lot on left.
